Booking an Appointment
Ireland Army Community Hospital (IRAHC) offer two ways to schedule an appointment:
IRAHC is expanding the availability of virtual appointments. As IRAHC has reduced some of its non-urgent in-person appointments to limit possible exposure of both patients and staff to COVID-19, telehealth options are being implemented. Depending on your needs, a video or telephone appointment with your provider may be a booked as an alternative to an in-person appointment.
-Symptoms
-Direct exposure, or contact tracing
-PCS or TDY travel (you will be required to show orders for proof)
-Pre-procedural
Please call the appointment line 800-493-9602 to make a COVID test appointment.
(Leisure travel is not an authorized reason for testing.)
Appointment Center hours:
Monday-Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Closed Federal Holidays. The 1st Thursday of the month 8 a.m.-10 a.m. and 3rd Thursday of the month 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
Need to Check on a Referral
Follow these steps when you need to see a specialist.
- Get a referral from your PCM.
- If you have been referral to one of IRAHC Specialty Clinics
- Check the status of your referral by calling 502-624-0713
- Call the Specialty Clinic to schedule appointment
Note: Please allow 48-72 hours after referral has been initiated.
- If you have been referred to a Network Provider
- Call the network provider's office to schedule
Note: Please allow 3-5 business days to process.
Urgent (72 hours or sooner) specialty referral requests are coordinated doctor-to-doctor at your PCM clinic.
